Mutual funds (MFs) sold shares worth a net Rs 517.50 crore on Wednesday, 26 September 2007, compared to their selling of Rs 430.50 crore on Tuesday, 25 September 2007. MFs' sales of Rs 517.50 crore on 26 September 2007 was a result of gross purchases of Rs 975.50 crore and gross sales Rs 1138.10 crore. The 30-shares BSE Sensex was up 21.85 points or 0.13% at 16,921.39 on that day. MFs were net sellers of shares worth Rs 886.50 crore in this month, till 26 September 2007.
