Mutual funds (MFs) sold shares worth a net Rs 207.80 crore on Monday, 1 October 2007. MFs' net sales of Rs 207.80 crore on 1 October 2007 was a result of gross purchases of Rs 545 crore and gross sales Rs 752.80 crore. The 30-shares BSE Sensex ended up 37.52 points or 0.22% at a record closing high of 17,328.62 on that day.
