SBI mutual fund plans to launch SBI Emerging International Opportunities Fund .An Open ended diversified equity fund.The investment objective of the scheme is to generate long-term capital appreciation from a diversified portfolio of predominantly equity and equity related securities including equity derivatives in the Indian and International emerging markets.
Investment options: Dividend Option and Growth Option. Under the dividend option, facility for reinvestment and payout is available.The scheme will invest 65-100% of its portfolio in equities and equity related securities and units of overseas mutual funds including foreign equity securities. The scheme will invest 0-35% in debt including debt derivatives and money market instruments including 20% in securitised debt. The plan may invest up to 50% of its equity portfolio in derivatives instruments.
