HDFC Fixed Maturity Plan Collects Rs. 473 Cr

HDFC Assets Management Company is sponsored by Housing Development Finance Corporation Limited (HDFC) and Standard Life Investment Ltd. HDFC incorporated in 1977 as the first specialized housing finance institution in India, has mopped up around Rs. 473 crore during the NFO of the HDFC Fixed Maturity Plan -VI-90 Days-November 2007, which closed on 26 November 2007. The objective of the plans under the scheme is to generate regular income through investments in debt / money market instruments and government securities. The fund will invest 60%-100% in money instruments, debt securities issued by the central government and/or state government(s) with low risk profile. The scheme will also invest 0%-40% in government securities with low risk profile. Investment in securitised debt will not exceed 75% of the net assets of the respective plans.
