Principal MF plans to launch Principal PNB Long Term Equity Fund 3 Year- Series III. It is a 3-year close-ended equity scheme. The primary objective of the scheme is to achieve long-term capital appreciation and income distribution by investing in equity and equity related instruments of mid cap companies.
The scheme offers investment under two options namely dividend and growth. Under dividend option, the unit holder will have dividend payout, and sweep facilities. The scheme will invest 65-100% of its portfolio equity and equity related instruments of mid cap companies. The scheme will invest 0-35% in equity and equity related instruments of other than mid cap companies. Overall the investment in equities will be 65%-100%. The scheme will invest up to 35% in cash and money market / fixed income securities including MIBOR linked short term papers.
