DBS Chola MF Declares Dividend In MIP- March 20, 2009

DBS Chola Mutual Fund has approved to declare dividend under quarterly dividend option of DBS Chola Monthly Income Plan. The record date for the declaration of dividend is 25 March 2009.

The Fund will declare the dividend of Rs 0.30 per unit as on face value of Rs 10 per unit. The NAV for the scheme was Rs 11.5650 as on 18 March 2009.

DBS Chola Monthly Income Plan is an open ended scheme with an objective to generate monthly income trough investment in a range of debt, equity and money market instruments.

Changes In Investment Pattern Of DBS Chola MF's Liquid Schemes - Feb 17, 2009

DBS Chola Mutual Fund has announced change in investment pattern of DBS Chola Liquid Fund, an open ended high liquidity income scheme.

In accordance with Sebi circular date 19 January 2009, the investment pattern indicating characteristics of the portfolio of the Liquid schemes have been revised as follows:

i. With effect from 01 February 2009, scheme shall make investments in / purchase debt and money market securities with maturity of upto 182 days only.

ii. With effect from 01 May 2009, the scheme shall make investments in / purchase debt and money market securities with maturity of upto 91 days only.

iii. Inter-scheme transfers of the securities having maturity of upto 365 days and held in other schemes as on 1 February 2009 shall be permitted till 31 October 2009.

iv. With effect from 1 November 2009 such inter scheme transfer of securities held in other schemes having maturity of upto 91 days only shall be permitted in the scheme.

DBS Chols MF Ceases Interval Income Fund - Feb 9, 2009

DBS Chola Mutual Fund has wound up DBS Chola Interval Income Fund - Quarterly Plan C, with effect from February 6, 2009. It has also ceased to issue units in the plan as well as has also ceased to create or cancel units in the plan. DBS Chola Interval Fund - Quarterly Plan C seeks to generate regular income through investments in debt (including securitised debt) as well as the money market and government securities normally maturing in line with the time profile of the respective plans.

DBS Chola MF Files An Offer Document - Oct 22, 2008

DBS Chola Mutual Fund filed an offer document to (Securities And Exchange Board of India) Sebi to launch new fund namely DBS Chola Tax Advantage Fund - Series I, a 10 year close ended equity linked saving scheme.The new issue price will be Rs 10 per unit.The investment objective of the Scheme is to seek to generate long-term capital growth from a diversified.

portfolio of predominantly equity and equity-related securities and also enabling investors to get income tax rebate as per the prevailing.Tax Laws and subject to applicable conditions. The scheme two options namely dividend payout and cumulative option. Both the options i.e. dividend and cumulative under scheme.

DBS Chola MF Launches FMP Series 10 - Sep 6, 2008

DBS Chola Mutual fund has announced the launch of its close-ended income scheme, DBS Chola Fixed Maturity Plan-Series 10 -Quarterly Plan II. The initial issue of units is at Rs.10 per unit. The fund opens for subscription on 5 September and will close on 11 September 2008. The scheme is a close ended with an aim to generate regular returns and capital appreciation by investing in debt including securitized debt, Government and money market securities maturing in line with time profile of the respective plans. The maturity of the fund is 91 days.

The minimum application amount is Rs 5000 and in multiples of Re 1 thereafter. The entire corpus under the scheme will be invested in money market instruments, corporate bonds, debt and govt. securities. Investors can opt between a cumulative or dividend payout. The scheme doesn't ask for an entry load. Redemptions before the maturity date will be subject to 0.50% exit load. The Benchmark for the fund will be CRISIL Liquid Fund Index. The scheme will be managed by Ankur Parekh.

DBS Chola MF Extends NFO Of 13 Months FMP -29 Aug 08

DBS Chola Mutual Fund (MF) extended the closing date of New Fund Offer period of DBS Chola Fixed Maturity Plan Series 11(13 Months). As per the announcement the closing date of NFO has been extended to 4 September 2008. Earlier the scheme was to close on 28 August 2008. The new fund launched for fresh subscription on 21 August 2008. DBS Chola Fixed Maturity Plan Series 11 is a close-ended income scheme. The maturity of the fund is 13 months i.e. maturity date of the scheme is 28 September 2009. The NFO price for the fund is Rs 10 per unit. The investment objective of the schemes to generate regular returns and capital appreciation by investing in debt including securitised debt, government and money market securities normally maturing in line with the time profile of the respective plans.

DBS Chola MF Files An Offer Document - July 29 , 2008

DBS Chola Mutual Fund filed an offer document to launch DBS Chola Fixed Maturity Plan Series 11. Scheme: It is a close-ended income scheme with two plans. The first plan will be of 13 months while other will be for 18 months. The primary objective of the scheme is to generate regular returns and capital appreciation by investing in debt, government and money market securities normally maturing in line with the time profile of the respective plans. The scheme two options namely dividend payout and cumulative option.

The scheme will invest 65% -100% of its portfolio money market instruments, corporate bonds, debt and Government securities. The scheme will also invest up to 35% in securitised debt.
