ABB Stocks To Benefit Fund Houses

ABB stocks jumped by 69.35% to Rs 1142.05 reported at BSE at 3.05 PM on 31 July 2007.
The rising prices of shares on the stock market will have a positive impact on the NAVs of the various mutual funds.

Sundaram BNP Paribas Tax Saver 97 will benefit the most as it has highest exposure to ABB among the peer groups who have invested into the stocks of the company. The scheme has 8.68% of its portfolio holding in the company with 900 units as on June 2007.

Sundaram BNP Paribas Capex Opportunities Fund (G) is also likely to benefit as scheme has 8.37% of its portfolio holding in the company with 1.71 lakh units as on June 2007.

However the scheme like JM Basic Fund (D) is less likely to benefit as scheme sold 2.94% of portfolio compared to 4.77% hold in May 2007.
