ABN AMRO China-India Fund has debuted at Rs 10.7096 per unit as against a face value of Rs 10 per unit. The scheme, whose initial public offering closed on October 1, re-opened for fresh investments and sales. ABN Amro China-India Fund is an open-ended equity fund. The primary investment objective of the scheme is to provide long-term capital appreciation by primarily investing in equity and equity related securities of India and China. The fund may also invest a limited proportion in other international equity and equity related securities and also debt and money market instruments.
ABN Amro China-India Fund is diversified, actively managed fund and invests in equities of fast growing economies in Asia i.e. China and India by using top down/ bottom up approaches in capturing stock opportunity. The scheme provided retail plan with growth and dividend options. The dividend option further offers sub-option of dividend payout and dividend re-investment facility. The minimum investment amount for the scheme is Rs. 5,000/- and in multiples of Re. 1/- thereafter.
