ABN Amro MF Called Off Merger Of Its Two Schemes

ABN Amro Mutual Fund has called off the merger of ABN Amro Dividend Yield Fund and ABN Amro Opportunity Fund. ABN Amro Dividend Yield Fund will continue to exist and accept all types of transactions with effect from 4 January 2008.

The fund house has also revised the offer document for ABN AMRO Short Term Income fund formerly known as ABN Amro Floating Rate Fund. According to revision the fund house has introduced quarterly dividend option with dividend reinvestment and payout facility under its regular, institutional and institutional plus plan.

It has also revised the minimum application amount under the scheme. According to the revised structure the applicant to has to pay minimum amount of Rs 1 lakh per application and in multiple of Re 1 thereafter under regular plan with weekly dividend option. The minimum investment under regular plan with growth option will be Rs 5000 and in multiple of Re 1 thereafter. The minimum investment under regular plan with monthly and quarterly dividend option is Rs 20000 and in multiple of Re 1 thereafter. The minimum investment under institutional plan with quarterly dividend option is Rs 1 crore and in multiple of Re 1 thereafter. The minimum investment under institutional plus plan with quarterly dividend option is Rs 10 crore and in multiple of Re 1 thereafter.

ABN Amro Short Term Income fund will also charge an exit load of 0.25% for the redemption made within 15 days from the date of investment
